EMERGENCE EVENING: A PUBLIC WRITING AND READING EVENT
On February 24, 2023, community members shared the "fruits of their contemplation," joining others at the ArtsCenter in Carrboro for a public reading of their work.
EMERGENCE EVENING will provide the community a chance to come together in celebration of our innate capacity for resilience, exploring how we have come "from emergency to emergence" during this year of tilling the ground together.
Finally, Project participants' work will be included in an online "zine" to be published by the ArtsCenter on their website. Work by fine arts students taking classes at the ArtsCenter will illustrate the zine, expanding the scope of our community's effort to keep fertile ground freshly planted, yielding a healthy harvest for us all.
